My grandad was a proud man. A hard working family man and is sorely missed by all members of hes large family. He could always be found in hes garden getting the next lot of flowers ready or trying to make hes own brew of alcohol! He was a member of the British Legion and a really great grandad. We miss you xx

A rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside
a garden wall,
And as the days passed
swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...

One day, a beam of light
shone through
a crevice that had
opened wide ~
The rose bent gently
toward its warmth
then passed beyond
to the other side

Now, you who deeply
feel its loss,
be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~
its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by
God's own loving care.

On your Birthday xx

We think about you always,
we talk about you still,
you have never been forgotten,
and you never will.
We hold you close within our hearts,
and there you will remain,
to walk with us throughout our lives
until we meet again.

As you release this butterfly in honour of me,
Know that I'm with you and will always be.
Hold a hand, say a prayer, close your eyes and see me There.
Although you may feel a bit torn apart,
Please know that I'll be forever in your heart.

Now fly away butterfly as high as you can go,
I'm right there with you more than you know.
xxxxx
